It was later learned he was mimicking the "chicken" scene from Footloose. When he realized that the building was not going to budge, he had no choice but to bail. Needless to say, he didn't get the girl.

The 2-hour delays were caused because the drivers arms were exhausted after trying to hand pump over 100 tires back up. Although, this might have been an elaborate excuse because the bus drivers union had a killer Memorial Day party the night before and needed some time to sleep in.

Kids will do anything to miss a day of school: fake sick, have car problems, trash thousands of dollars worth of equipment and supplies. We'll see how long it takes this crime scene to unfold before students are allowed back into school. In the meantime, they have all day to vandalize the city while they're not in class.

The man responsible for this graffiti is simply trying to encourage elementary age students to introduce certain levels of physical fitness to their lifestyle.

What could be the worst possible thing a 4th grader can write in the bathroom stalls? Do we really have to lock the school down and bring in security because 2 girl aren't getting along? I think it's become ingrained in kids that almost anything can get them out of taking tests now. Growing up we never stopped school unless we actually saw a fire. There was no such thing as "threats."

Who has the time or money to remove two-month old graffiti from school walls? We are quick to hand out punishments if children are caught using obsene words, but are perfectly fine with allowing one side of your building to be bannered with vulgarities for the entire community to read. Great logic we are teaching these elementary students.
