Story: School employee arrested with gun in Dorchester
Wait a second...this isn't Texas! Sometimes instead of packing a lunch, I prefer to pack heat. It's no accident when you arrive on campus with a .380 handgun and 12 rounds of ammunition. Do we really need to spark up the debate again, or can't we just agree that not all people need to be carrying firearms?

Not that this justifies anything, but when the gun was found there were no kids in school yet. Fortunately, we might have escaped tragedy.
Or, unfortunately, we may have enabled a tragedy. You want to ban guns at school? Fine, then do so in a way that is meaningful with metal detectors, locked doors and guards.
Anything else is pretty much just aiding the products of our physiology mills so that the next time they give some kid the prozac and fry his brain he can come to school, laugh at the no guns sign and either start shooting or detonate a make shift bomb.
