Story: Plane crashes into Idaho elementary school
Not this this is necessarily a result of poor education policies, but it a noteworthy story. As an elementary student, I remember losing my focus if maintenance starting mowing the lawn outside my classroom. I can only imagine having a single-engine Cessna crashing through the window. It's a good thing this school isn't built by a railroad track.

This would never happen in Texas...teachers would have been able to shoot down the plane into the adjacent field well before it became a threat.
And people dare to criticize the Texan's policy to arm teachers!
So there wasn't a nearby field to land in to? I guess a concrete building looked like the best runway strip.
Terrorism!
If only we went after those guys how attacked us on 911 and not just guys we had a vendetta on.
