Story: Judge rules gay club can meet at Okeechobee high school
Prior to this, the school was acting under the logic that "It's wrong to be gay." They shot themselves in the foot when they later realized that the homosexual lifestyle has been generally accepted in society for quite some time now. The judge also ruled that the principal can no longer refer to the organizers of this club as "queers."

If you look at some public opinion polls, you wouldn't say the "homosexual lifestyle has been generally accepted". Yeah, we're no longer ranked next to communists and atheists as the least popular groups in society. Big whoop. Whatever. That principal can call me "queer". Can I call him a breeder and a fetishist of the opposite gender?
Yeah, I can verify that the gay/lesbian population gets a crapload of heat. When I walk around town with my friends, I get to listen to the chorus of "QUEERS" and "FREAKS" yelled from car windows. Real nice.
You know what's even cooler? Having teachers that ignore bullies. I really dig that. Make me want to come to class every day.
I think the poster meant that it's been legally accepted in society. Besides that, we're probably the most hated minority in the USA. Actually, we ARE the most hated minority. I hate this country soooo much. Thank Jesus, The Devil, and that happy fat guy that Obama's president.
