Story: Redding high school paper to be shut down after flag-burning photo
I know it's against the law to actually burn flags, but I wasn't aware we can't publish pictures or write about this act. Does that mean they would have been in the same trouble for showing a picture of someone smoking weed, or a picture of an illegal immigrant working in the U.S? Isn't the idea of free press in tact so we can express ourselves without censorship. Hey guys, you're more than welcome to write for the team at DetentionSlip.

It's not illegal to burn flags. There was a Supreme Court ruling quite a few years ago overturning a young fellow's conviction on flag burning charhes
I'm a Shasta student. My sister is too. My older sister is a Disabled Veteran, she cried and said, "people hate anyone that is in the Military, they don't appreciate anything we tried to do". Yes, Connor slipped that in AFTER the Advisor had approved a different cover and story. Connor is all over the internet saying that Advisor knew, he's lying. Connor is just like all the Bay Area new residents, unemployed, Entitlement bums that pay no taxes on SSI/SSP. The Bay Area's flooding in to Redding have certainly ruined our City. Many are moving now. After destroying their area, they came here to destroy ours. Redding now is just like any other really bad California city. Since Reddings inception, it has been one of the best places on Earth to live. That's all over now. The Leftist Socialist Marxists are here now. Time to move. Even though I and my relatives have lived here since the beginning of Redding, in the 1800's, we are moving away. Many are. We loved it here. Not having all these Commie Liberal superbums around. I will come back in 5 years to see more destruction, then 10 to see the completed morbitity that these new Transplants have left. Connor is leaving, to UC, good riddence Connor you little punk
Weren't the commies the ones who restricted free speech and had a government controlled media?
Sounds like the above "shasta student " is doing a great job spitting back some shit s/he heard from dad.
My sister is the student newspaper advisor. I just returned from South Carolina where at my grandson graduation they arrested folks for cheering for their children graduating.
Where would you want to live?
